Mags Lightbody named as NIHE interim Chief Executive
The NIHE board has announced that Mags Lightbody will take up the role of interim Chief Executive in April.
Commenting on the appointment Donald Hoodless, Housing Executive Chairman said: “Dr John McPeake, our current Chief Executive is due to retire on 31 March 2014 and we are working to appoint a new Chief Executive as soon as possible. In the interim, we have appointed Mags Lightbody to lead the organisation.”
Ms Lightbody joined NIHE as director of transformation in November 2013. Before that, she was director of business development and growth at Glasgow Housing Association.
Achieving excellence through tenant involvement
Mags contributed to Housing Rights Service and Supporting Communities NI event on “Achieving Excellence Through Tenant Involvement” event in December 2013. Read her presentation on the importance of engaging with tenants in the reform of social housing in Northern Ireland.
