Helping the Public
Housing Rights exists to help people who are in housing need in Northern Ireland. We aim to do this in 3 ways:
- providing direct advice and representation to members of the public
- developing training courses and information tools to help other advice agencies and
- bringing our clients' experiences to the attention of politicians and decision makers and advocating for changes in policy, legislation and practice.
Advising the public
We operate a daily advice service, helping people in Northern Ireland get to grips with their housing problems. Our telephone number is 028 9024 5640.

Call us on 028 9024 5640 between 09:30 and 16:30 Monday to Friday and choose the correct option to speak with an adviser. You can also email us with your housing issue.
Representation at court
Advisers from Housing Rights regularly attend courts in Northern Ireland to help people who could have their homes repossessed. Our advisers can help you if you face being evicted because you haven't been able to pay your rent or mortgage and face losing your home. There's no charge for this service and if you need extra help after your hearing one of our housing debt advisers can help you out.
I just wanted to thank you for all your help and support. It's hard to accept that you can lose your home after 25 years.
