Community Housing Advice Partnership

The Community Housing Advice Partnership (CHAP) is a joint initiative between Housing Rights, Advice NI and Citizens Advice Northern Ireland.  Member organisations can speak to 2 dedicated housing advisers in Housing Rights who provide support and representation on complex housing matters that generalist advisers may not feel equipped to deal with.  Where necessary, case referrals can be made to the CHAP advisers who will try to resolve your client's housing problem.

Our helpline advisers can also provide advice to other organisations who arent part of the Community Housing Advice Partnership.

Events & Training

We hold regular training courses and seminars to make sure you and your colleagues are kept up to date with the latest developments.  As well as our public programme of events we can offer tailored versions of our courses at our premises or yours to organisations who want to ensure that all their staff are informed about particular housing issues.

We develop our training programme with your needs and current housing developments in mind.  Our specialist advisers are involved in developing every course so you know that both the theory and the practice of the course subject matter will be dealt with.

Our training courses aren't the only way we inform other housing agencies and professionals about forthcoming change.  We also regularly hold events and seminars highlighting housing issues that are of particular interest or relevance.

Sign up to our ebulletin or follow us on Twitter and Facebook to make sure you don't miss out on offers for training and events.
