NIFHA holds social housing practitioners conference

On the 24th March, NIFHA will hold their first Social Housing Practitioner Confernce at the Park Avenue Hotel

The Social Housing Practitioners Conference will explore many practical and prominent topics including welfare reform, hoarding, anti-social behaviour and maintenance.

The line-up includes Housing Rights Policy and Practice Manager Kate Ward and Supporting Communities Support Services Manager Laura O’Dowd who will be giving an overview of tenant participation, the topic of our own joint conference on the 11 April.

There will be contribitions from many other local organisations giving sector overview as well as practical advice on a wide range of frontline issues.

The conference is aimed at practitioner staff and will be useful for Housing Officers, Maintenance Officers, Development Officers and Community Support Workers, as well as managers in these operational areas.
