This course covers a general overview of Mediation:

  • What is mediation
  • What are the benefits of mediation
  • Who does it apply to
  • How do you initiate mediation

The course will also cover, more specifically, how mediation works in the housing arena. We will discuss the benefits to all parties in engaging in mediation to try and resolve an issue with housing, whether this involves landlord, tenant, neighbours and so forth. 

Outcome of the course

To empower participants to understand the benefits of mediation and how this could assist them in offering advice and support to their clients on housing issues, particularly in the private rented sector.
