Our Level 3 accredited Financial Capability training looks at the definition of financial capability, what the causes of debt in Northern Ireland are and how these impact on client’s financial capability. 

The course will consider: 

  • Clients who “Can’t pay versus Won’t pay"
  • Potential vulnerabilities clients may have and how this may also impact on their financial capability. 
  • Empowering the client to manage their own budget and sustain their home. 
  • Priority and non-priority debts
  • How to prepare a financial statement and how to devise a sustainable repayment plan.  
 

Outcome of course

A practical guide to the current financial capability issues, allowing attendees to consider how to help clients to be more financially aware, helping to sustain tenancies and increase budgeting skills
