This introductory level training course will assist participants in ‘walking through’ the current Housing Selection Scheme points system and the assessment process completed by NIHE to support applicants in gaining social housing. 

The housing training course will focus on: 

• Accessing social rented housing 
• Assessment and ranking of applicants 
• Complex needs assessments 
• Allocations 
• Challenging decisions 
• Legislation in place to support the assessment process and applicants being assessed for social housing

Gain more knowledge on how to advise clients on increasing their points and have a better knowledge of the points system.
