***This course will run over two days, Tuesday 9th November and Tuesday 16th November, 10:00-13:00***.
Our Level 3 accredited Financial Capability training looks at what financial capability means, the causes of debt in Northern Ireland, and how these impact on a client’s financial capability. We will also discuss the issue of clients who "can't pay" versus those who "won't pay" and look at vulnerabilities clients may have and how such vulnerabilities can also impact on their financial capability.
The housing training course relates these findings to empowering and helping the client to manage their own budget and sustain their home. To aid the client to do this, we look at what are priority and non-priority debts, how to prepare a financial statement and how to devise a sustainable repayment plan
