This 3 hour zoom session will look at the various forms of discretionary support, financial assistance and charitable support that is available to your clients, in the interests of alleviating poverty and promoting greater security of tenure.
Housing Rights has found that affordability is consistently one of the top issues encountered by clients and is escalating with the ever growing Cost of Living Crisis. Nevin Economic Research Institute (NERI) has also found that those living in both the social and private rented sectors are at risk of poverty after housing costs are met. This is particularly the case for low-income households in the private rented sector, who face a particularly high housing cost burden and a high risk of poverty.
This session will highlight possible funding avenues available to your clients to assist them in addressing their cost of living issues.
