#Homes4all: Housing and Homelessness Hustings
Housing Rights is pleased to join with the Council for the Homeless, the Chartered Institute of Housing NI and the NI Federation for Housing Associations to convene a Housing and Homelessness Hustings on Friday 15 April from 14:00 to 16:00 at the Girdwood Community Hub in north Belfast, 10 Girdwood Avenue, Belfast, Antrim BT14 6EG.
The event, which will be chaired by journalist and broadcaster Yvette Shapiro, is being held to discuss the major challenges around housing and homelessness ahead of the Assembly elections on 5 May 2016. The attached infographic details some of the key issues which the hustings will cover including housing supply, improving standards and tackling affordability concerns in the private rented sector and supporting people and tackling homelessness.
All political parties have been invited and attendees can look forward to hearing each party’s ideas on how government can ensure everyone gets access to a decent, safe, affordable home, with appropriate care and support as required.

The other parties are expected to confirm representatives shortly. Tickets are free but attendees are asked to pre-register in advance by Monday 11 April by emailing [email protected]. Parking is available at the venue.
